Welcome to Cuddles and Cream: Comprehensive Breastfeeding Services Plan for a 90-minute initial visit with us, as our consultants take the time to understand your unique journey. We will gather detailed information about your pregnancy, birth, and your new baby. Relax in our clinic, enjoying serene views of the lake as we strive to make breastfeeding easier for you.
During this visit, our experienced IBCLC will address a wide range of concerns that many new parents face, including nipple pain, low milk supply, concerns about baby’s weight gain, difficulty latching, engorgement, plugged ducts, or questions about pumping and supplementation.
The visit includes:
A full assessment of your baby’s oral anatomy and suck function, to identify any possible concerns such as tongue or lip tie, tension, or coordination issues.
Evaluation of your positioning and your baby’s latch and suck function to improve comfort and effectiveness during feeding.
Pre- and post-feed weights to assess how much milk your baby is transferring during a feeding.
Evaluation of your breast health and a comprehensive overview on milk supply concerns.
Pre and post frenectomy care, including oral habilitation work if indicated, referrals offered as needed.
Discussion of your infant’s feeding history, goals, and any physical or emotional challenges you may be experiencing.
Discussion of maternal diet offering education on the lactogenic diet and mother’s general health and wellness.
Personalized breastfeeding care plan tailored to your specific needs and breastfeeding goals.
A summary of the lactation visit is shared with your pediatrician to ensure continuity of care.

Follow Up - Postpartum Breastfeeding Consultation
This in-depth 90-minute follow up lactation visit is designed to support you through the challenges of breastfeeding and ensure that both you and your baby are set up for success. During this visit, our experienced IBCLC will address a wide range of concerns that many new parents face, including nipple pain, low milk supply, concerns about baby’s weight gain, difficulty latching, engorgement, plugged ducts, or questions about pumping and supplementation.
The visit includes:

Welcome to Cuddles and Cream: Comprehensive Breastfeeding Visit for moms with multiples. Spend 120-minutes with us, as our consultants take the time to understand your unique journey. We will gather detailed information about your pregnancy, birth, and your new babies. Relax in our clinic, enjoying serene views of the lake as we strive to make breastfeeding easier for you.
During this visit, our experienced IBCLC will address a wide range of concerns that many new parents of multiples face, including feeling overwhelmed, combo feeds, prolonged NICU stays, how to make breastfeeding sustainable, nipple pain, low milk supply, with possible concerns about your babies growth, latch difficulties, engorgement, plugged ducts, or questions about pumping and supplementation.
The visit includes:
A full assessment of your babies oral anatomy and suck function, to identify any possible concerns such as tongue or lip tie, tension, or coordination issues.
Evaluation of your positioning, we will assess latch and suck function for each infant, and discuss ways to improve comfort and effectiveness during feeding.
Pre- and post-feed weights to assess how much milk your baby is transferring during a feeding.

We will gather detailed information about your pregnancy, birth, and twins. Relax in our clinic, enjoying serene views of the lake as we strive to make breastfeeding easier for you.

Prenatal Classes
Fun and interactive Prenatal Breastfeeding classes for new parents!! This infant Feeding Class is designed for new families before the baby arrives. It can be overwhelming to learn about breastfeeding after baby is born. So sign up now and learn what to expect in the early days of breastfeeding, how to prevent common challenges and discover ways to meet your breastfeeding goals.
Mom and Baby Groups
Breastfeeding support groups | Infant feeding and breastfeeding topics
We will be meeting Wednesday mornings At Cuddles and Cream Lactation, at 1312 N. 16th Ave. Yakima, WA . Drop in once a week or once a month. Every week our mother-baby breastfeeding support group will be HERE to offer support and love. This is a place where you will be invited to share your experiences, survival tips and most importantly where you will have an opportunity to meet your mom tribe. Parents will have the option of weighing their baby each week and a lactation consultant will be available to answer questions.
Every Wednesday our discussions will vary, we will introduce topics that are relevant and interesting. On occasion we will invite guest speakers who will share their expertise with us. However, keep in mind that your stories and experiences are the reason this group is happening. So bring your babies, your birth stories, your laughter, ideas and insights. Oh and on the rough days, there is no shame in sharing your tears and fatigue. Your presence will encourage and inspire others, ultimately you are bringing the real value to this weekly group.
